Customizable clinical dashboards and a digital triage and order board help teams prioritize cases and coordinate care. SpecVet's medical records module supports customizable templates, unlimited MRN types, and quick record writing through its SMRT feature. Document management tools allow staff to scan paper reports by QR code and automatically link documents to the correct patient record. For referral hospitals, SpecVet includes rDVM communication tools that make it easy to send reports and updates to primary care veterinarians. Charge capture is a major focus of the platform. Automated billing links treatments and orders to bill codes so fees are recorded as care is delivered, and integrated inventory and order management tracks supply costs and resources in real time. The company reports that customers have significantly improved lab fee capture and overall revenue capture after implementation. SpecVet also includes business intelligence and reporting tools with customizable templates, mobile-friendly dashboards, and the ability to track performance by individual doctor, department, or the hospital as a whole. Integrations include IDEXX, Cubex, major reference and in-house lab equipment providers, SmartFlow, and rVetLink.
