The platform supports multiple models, in house payment plans, pay in advance plans for scheduled procedures, pet savings accounts that accrue funds on the client’s schedule, wellness plan billing handled by VetBilling, and staff payment plans. This gives practices several ways to match financial options to clinical scenarios. Risk and eligibility tools include an optional soft credit check called Credit Score Recommendation, propensity to pay analysis, and suggested contract structures. These features help set down payments and terms while keeping approvals under the clinic’s control. Collections and compliance services are built in. VetBilling monitors exceptions, performs outreach by phone, email, text, and paper notices, updates expired cards, and can report to credit bureaus when the clinic selects that option. Clients and clinics each have a portal to view history, upcoming drafts, and export data for accounting or posting back to the medical record.
