What is Pawprints Vetlogs?

Pawprints Vetlogs is a tamper-evident controlled-substance drug log designed around DEA recordkeeping. It is built by a practicing veterinarian for solo house-call vets, small multi-vet practices and brick-and-mortar clinics with a shared drug pool. It runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install and no special hardware. Every entry goes into an append-only, hash-chained ledger that blocks edits and deletes at the database level. Disposals use dual-witness flows aligned with DEA Form 41, with hashed witness PINs and lockout after repeated failures. A recall workflow quarantines affected lots and documents destruction. One click produces inspector-ready PDF reports with bottle-level reconciliation, biennial inventory and chain verification. Inventory can be tracked per veterinarian or as a shared pool, and per-state compliance rules apply automatically. Admin, veterinarian and technician roles are enforced in the database, with an audit log, row-level security, layered backups and CSV export. Plans are flat-rate per practice, month-to-month, with a 30-day free trial.
